I am based between Mandelieu-la-Napoule and Cannes. I travel to Cannes, Antibes and Nice in the same day, and to Monaco by appointment, to measure a shop window or see a menu in place. Elsewhere, the quote and the file are shared by message and the order is delivered to you.
The menu goes from hand to hand throughout the service. It has to stay readable, survive the handling and be updated without redoing everything.

A message, a call or a coffee. The item, a rough quantity and the date you need it by are enough to get started.
Item, format, quantity, finishes, lead time and price, all in writing. 50% deposit on order, balance on delivery. If something is going to be tricky, paper, cutting or minimum order, I tell you at that point.
I do the layout and you receive a PDF. You check the prices, the names and the texts, and you approve in writing. Nothing goes into production without your approval.
The file goes out, I follow the order and you receive the parcel at the address of your choice. I keep the file, ready for the next update.
A print-ready PDF goes straight through: CMYK colours, images at 300 dpi, 3 mm bleed, safety margins, fonts outlined or embedded. I also accept native files and, failing that, a logo and your texts. In that case, I do the layout.
I check it before starting anything and tell you what is wrong: missing bleed, low-resolution image, missing font. A quick fix, I do it. A bigger rework, I tell you the time and cost first.
Yes. You receive a PDF to approve in writing, with the prices and texts to check. A paper sample before printing is possible, it adds a few days.
It depends on the item. A few dozen for cards or flyers, a single piece for a poster, a roll-up banner or a window sticker, many more for custom packaging. The exact quantity is priced in the quote.
The countdown starts when the file is approved, not when the order is placed. For a standard item, allow about a week between the approved mock-up and delivery. Two weeks as soon as there is foil, cutting or large format. The firm lead time is on the quote.
If the fault comes from production, the printer reprints at its own cost and I handle the claim. If the fault was already in the proof you approved, the job has to be redone and I tell you the cost first.
Yes, on most items, on recycled paper or FSC-certified board. The result is more matt and the colours a little less bright. I show you the difference before you choose.
